What to Bring to RVR

ESSENTIALS

• sleeping bag, or sheets and blankets for your bunk
• pillow
• enough clothes for Saturday and Sunday AM
• gloves, hat, and hiking boots or old shoes for the Saturday AM on the mountain. (it may be muddy)
• toiletries (toothbrush, toothpaste, deodorant, soap, shampoo, etc...)
• bath towel and washcloth
• Bible, small notebook, and pen
• money for the snack shop
  

ITEMS NOT TO BRING

• weapons, tobacco, drugs
• handheld video games (DS, Gameboy, etc...)
• musical instruments

SPECIAL NOTE ABOUT IPODS AND CELLPHONES

• iPods and other mp3 players ARE ALLOWED for personal reflection time and help in sleeping
• Cellphones ARE ALLOWED FOR EMERGENCY CONTACT ONLY. Texting at the ranch is NOT ALLOWED, so tell your "peeps at home" to chill until you get home. Consider yourself "OUT OF TOUCH".
